Mixed media box by Nadya Drozdova

Hello everyone! Here is Nadya sharing with you my new project and video that I prepared for you. This time it is altered mixed-media box in not my usual colors.

Blue and yellow is very beautiful combo, but I think, that I was using it for the first time. I decorated the box with Prima flowers and Dusty attic chipboards using a lot of Finnabair mixed-media products.

Here is video tutorial. Hope you like it.

Mixed media craziness by Georgie

Hi lovelies,

Today I’m sharing a smaller style layout, mixed media of course!
I love layers and the very messy style, I love how all the craziness helps draw the eye towards to focal picture.

I started with a smaller piece of canvas board and built up texture with art stones and heavy gesso, then slowly blending and layering colours from the Art Alchemy range and Lindy’s.

I used pieces of chipboard to build up dimension, including papers from 7 Dots Northern Lights, Prima die cuts and flowers, along with some of Finn’s Mechanicals.

Finishing up a design I nearly always love to use Microbeads, Glitter Glass and Glitter. Just a bit of dazzle that just helps bring it all together.

Thank you for stopping buy and don’t forget to check out more inspiration from the other amazing teamies!

Mixed media canvas "Sweet Dreams" by Anastasia Korvyakova

Hello friends! Anastasia here. Today I want to inspire you with a mixed media canvas about dreams. March in Russia is not yet a spring month, it's cold and snow outside. But despite this, we more and more often dream about green leaves, flowers and warm days. And I created my canvas dreaming about it.

As a base, I used a canvas with paper from beautiful Northern Light collection by 7 Dots Studio. For created decorative composition I took lace, metallic flowers and flowers which I made used Prima moulds. I decided to make the center of the composition a butterfly (one of my favorite metallic embellishments from Finnabair), as a symbol of spring and summer(actually, I would want to get a summer right away))).
And to color my composition I decided to use bright paints, but mixed them with water. As a result, I got gentle colors. To add radiance and brilliance I used a Rose-Gold paint, patina effect paste Brass, amazing acrylic paint Unicorn's Hair and opal magic wax Vintage Silk.
